New Political Party Formed
Prime Minister Kurt (not to be confused with the actual Prime Minister, Fernetti) has laid his foundation for an attempt to be elected Prime Minister of Liberalia.
Forming a new party known as the Labor Party, yet another left wing party with policies similar to that of currently existing parties, the Labor Party is the first brand new political party in some months. Kurt has marketed it as being about the opinions of the average Liberalian and went on to say that he wants the party to be one that you can trust.
Having at first aggravated senior Liberalians including Random Textbox_Inputs, with demands for "change", Kurt has taken a more restrained role in recent days, identifying what people are interested in, policy wise, and running a preliminary poll to gauge likely support.
A manifesto has already been published. Curiaistan effectively demolished it by suggesting that many of the policies outlined are already the case and reeled off a list of accomplishments that Liberalia has already acheived ending with a request to support the Higher Education Act that Curiaistan skillfully negotiated through Parliament.
In a statement, Curiaistan went on to say "I dont know you enough to give you the most important job in Liberalia."
Co-operative People offered a more concilatory tone remarking on the "increase in political activity that has come out of these Labor discussions and I look forward to seeing more."
Many nations have come in with grand plans, it will be interesting to see if the talk is matched by the walk.
