Liberalian News Service: New Government Term
The Elections for Prime Minister threw up a surprise when not one but two PMs were elected.
Originally, it was thought that Soccersian of the Centre Right party had won by 11 votes to 10.
It came to the Guardian Council's attention that one citizen may have voted twice, so Curiaistan, Carops and Nucleawasta checked out the number of votes and declared a dead heat.
Soccersian and Fernetti agreed to work together instead of re-running the election so for the first time ever, Liberalia has two PMs.
Fernetti had this to say after one week of working together:
"Soccersian and I are getting along suprisingly well. He is a good guy and despite our differences, we are both seeing eye to eye on our goals. So far we have a master cabinet, and it proves that political diversity can run a region. I look foward to what the rest of the term has to ofter for us."
There is concern expressed in other quarters about how two people with very different ideology can in fact work together so watch this space.
